I played all the way through PoP-SoT with a Logitech Wingman Rumblepad without problems, so it will work. Make sure when you go to setup the controls, make sure ALL your axis including that stupid, useless throttle slider on the top are exatly centered (and calibrated unless you run the auto-calibrating Logitech drivers). Other wise you go to bind controls to something and the un-centered one will grab the bind every time. I set movement to the left thumbstick, and the camera rotation and zoom to the right thumbstick. It worked great.
